General Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Use (“General Terms and Conditions of Use” or “GTCU”) apply to the browsing of the website www.fondation-gattefosse.org (the “Website”) and the use of its features.
By accessing the Website, the user (the “User”) acknowledges having read and accepted without reservation all the GTCU herein and undertakes to comply with them.
These General Terms and Conditions of Use may be revised by Gattefossé Foundation at any time without any formality other than the online publication of a new amended version, the latter prevailing over any previous version.
2. Access to the Website
The Website is accessible free of charge in any place to any User with internet access.
Any costs involved in accessing the Website (computer hardware, software, internet connection, etc.) are borne by the User.
In the event of maintenance work, an event beyond the control of Gattefossé Foundation, an outage or in the event of force majeure, access to the Website may be interrupted or suspended without notice or justification and without Gattefossé Foundation being held liable.
In addition, Gattefossé Foundation reserves the right to interrupt or definitively cease publication of the Website, at any time, without notice or justification and without being held liable.
3. Intellectual Property
The registered or unregistered trademarks, logos and signs represented on the Website as well as all its content (texts, icons, photographs, illustrations, layouts, etc.), are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and more specifically by copyright.

8. Applicable law, competent courts
These General Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by French law without giving effect to the conflicts of laws principles thereof. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Lyon shall have sole jurisdiction, including in the event of summary proceedings, third-party claims or multiple defendants.

1. Purpose
Personal data is information that may allow, directly or indirectly, the identification of a natural person. This includes, for example, surnames, first names, email addresses, telephone numbers, user names, IP addresses, cookies, etc.
This personal data protection policy applies to personal data collected by Gattefossé Foundation directly from users (the “Users”) of the website www.fondation-gattefosse.org (the “Website”).
In its capacity as data controller, Gattefossé Foundation undertakes to collect, process and store the personal data of Users in complete confidentiality and in accordance with the provisions of this policy.
By accessing the Website, the User acknowledges having read and accepted, without reservation, the terms of this personal data protection policy.
2. Purposes of processing
Gattefossé Foundation collects the personal data that Users agree to provide. Data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Contact form
– Management, processing and response to Users’ enquiries and requests for information;
– Management and processing of requests for information, access, rectification, deletion or portability of personal data or requests to oppose or restrict data processing.
- Cookies
– Facilitation of browsing on the Website;
– Sharing of videos, animated and interactive content;
– Statistics (analysis of traffic on the Website for example);

– At the end of the term stipulated above; or
– At the User’s request, in accordance with the applicable regulations and the procedures provided for in Article 7 below (subject to any legal retention obligation).

On the other hand, this data may be sent to certain service providers/technical subcontractors of Gattefossé Foundation (audience analysis service in particular) bound to the confidentiality and security of this data and exclusively for the purposes described in Article 2 above.

Gattefossé Foundation undertakes to set up all necessary technical and organisational measures to preserve the confidentiality and security of the personal data collected on the Website.
However, Gattefossé Foundation cannot be held liable for a security failure attributable to the User.
