An Educational Platform for Protocol Evaluation

Training and Supporting Aromatherapists
Created in 2024 by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), the Research Academy aims to educate, inspire, and support the aromatherapy community in evaluating their practices.

The program seeks to strengthen practitioners’ knowledge and skills by providing them with the necessary tools to integrate evaluation into their approach. Starting in 2025, mentors from the Academy will also offer mentorship to help professionals structure and conduct their evaluation projects.

A Promising Launch in 2024
The Academy was officially inaugurated in September during AIA’s annual conference in Nashville. A new online learning platform (LMS) already features six recorded presentations, available to all (even non-members).

A 3 years commitment from the Gattefossé Foundation

Convinced that research and protocol evaluation are essential for aromatherapy to gain scientific recognition, the Gattefossé Foundation is supporting this program for three years.
