Anne uses essential oils at Réunion University Hospital to improve the management of wounds and scars, prevent infections and soothe the pain and stress of her patients. She also contributes to a more general use of aromatherapy at the university hospital, in the pharmacy, the operating theatre and the various volunteer services.
She also works for the TSIKY RUN association and does humanitarian medical missions to treat patients born with a cleft lip in Madagascar.
She uses essential oils in pre- and post-operative care and trains Malagasy doctors to use aromatherapy as a supplement or sometimes as a replacement for allopathic treatments.
She won the Gattefossé Foundation’s Prize in 2018 for her work.
